Tomorrow is the Day!
We’re going travelling on a Planet Full Of Love
We’re just about to go bed, having packed as much stuff as we think we’ll need for two and a half months of travelling into our backpacks. Despite having gone on many trips over the years, this is our first trip over three weeks in length. We couldn’t be more excited! We’ll be sure to do a post soon telling you what we have managed to pack in there.
Tomorrow we fly to Nuremberg, in Germany, where we start our journey. From here, we’ll be heading through the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Croatia. We’ll be back in the UK late October for a friend’s wedding. We’d better be back for that, as Scott is writing and performing a song for them at the ceremony.
It is a mixture of nerves, excitement, and thinking about what we might have forgotten to do. It’s like what we all go through every time we go on a trip away, but magnified due to the fact it is such a long trip!
We’ll be travelling as cheaply as possible. Local transport, local food, and staying with new friends we meet as we travel. This is the lifestyle we are going to be living.
